help with ducklings please

Got 2 rouens and 1 indian runner yesterday. 2 or 3 days old from tsc. Btw which color indian runners start out as yellow ducklings? I'm interested in which color I may possibly have

While my babies are oh so cute they're so scared of me! Even when I change their water, they scatter so fast and are so afraid

I try holding them often, had them on the couch with me last night and the kids were just down there with them for 15 min or so. What else can I do? Treats? Any other suggestions? I don't want them to go rogue on me! Thanks!

The Runner is probably a fawn and white, but could be white.

They will be skittish at first. Keep working with them. Treats are wonderful when hand-fed. The friendliest ducks I ever met were a group who spent their first three weeks in a classroom, where they were fed all day long by eager children. Try removing their feed for ten minutes or so, and then lowering a handful of feed into the bin, in your hand. Don't remove the feed for more than a few minutes at this age, but if they're just a little hungry they're more likely to come over and check the food out. When they associate your hands with feed, they'll become more friendly.

Also, take them outside if you have time and let them follow you around a bit. At this age, they will run from anything that approaches them, and follow anything that moves away from them. If they get used to following you, they'll be more approachable as adults.
