Hi All...When we rescued our Turkey we noticed that it limped and both feet looked deformed. Being new Turkey owner we just assumed that the feet looked like that because of age. After doing research we found out Wobbles had Scaley Mites. For a few weeks we've been treating the mites. And now since the scales have been cleared of the mites we noticed that the bottom scales of his legs are pressing on his feet and I know is causing pain, Wobbles still limps. My question is......do the scales have nerves in them and can we trim them away from the top of his foot?
Thanks for "ANY" info. I want to help our Turkey walk better. We've been told that Wobbles is about 6 years old and he is a big boy too.
