Help with female duck

I have a female duck who was running around with an egg hanging out in the sack. I have caught her and put her in a warm bathtub for now, but I don't know what else to do to help her without hurting her.

Have you felt an egg in there? That is called a prolapse that means her inside is prolapse outside. May not be an egg in there it can happen when trying to lay a egg.

Put her in the tub of warm water and gently try and maneuver the egg out. Once you get the egg out let her soak for a little while then take her out and see if you can lube up the tissue KY or use coconut oil something like that and try to put it back inside. It may not stay just keep trying you don’t want that tissue to dry out so keep it lubed. Or take her to the vet and let them deal with this once they get the tissues back in they can put a few stitches in to hold it in. Or you can try to get inside and out lubed and do this outside of the tub.
