Have you tried letting bananas ripen a bit,almost to the point of the skins being all black? The actual fruit is almost mush and much sweeter when allowed to ripen more.My BSSP pen almost lands on my arm before the gate is closed when they see a banana coming.Mine loves watermelons cut in qtrs in the summertime too.
