I am brand new to raising chickens. I currently have 5 buff Orpington's and 5 Americaunas. I'm hoping to get some help sexing these little guys. They are all about 8-9 weeks old.

Unfortunately, getting good pictures is hard. We had them on the porch ( we were cleaning their home) yesterday and I was able to catch a picture of this Americauna. Anyone have any clue if it's a hen or a roo?

I'm hoping to get more pictures of all my chickens this afternoon.

No one is screaming roo in these photos, but clear pictures of each bird will help clear things up. The pattern shown on your Easter Egger (the "americaunas" you were sold) is typically a pullet patter.

Honestly all the Buffs look pretty much the same as this one to me. Just variations in size. I'm trying to get more pictures. If the Americaunas are all Easter Eggers instead would it be safe to say they are all female if thier feathers are all black and the golden color above? I read a post just a bit ago and I thought I understood that EE Roos have lighter/white feathers on thier head and neck.
