Thank you!

I was afraid of that. I think my two younger ones are both roosters also. *sigh* I guess we'll have some good dinner. HAHA We're definitely keeping the Black Copper, he's very sweet.

Thanks for your help everyone!

Not for sure, but one and maybe 2 are roos. 3 is a pullet and I think 4 could also be a pullet. Just because there is a comb doesn't mean it's a roo.

I know that. I was just comparing the two chicks. They are the same breed, look nearly identical, but one has a big bright red comb and the other has next to none, which makes me think that one is a cockerel and one is a pullet. I have another one that has a small comb, but I'm fairly certain she is a pullet.

I just wanted to come back with a quick update.

The one that everyone, including myself, thought was a pullet...?? I got my first crow from "her" today. *sigh* I think I ended up with all roosters. Hopefully the one that I am fairly certain is a pullet really turns out to be a pullet. I just lost my female Black Copper.

Wow. I am amazed that #3 is a roo! This sort of turns my chicken-sexing world upside down.

I'm sorry for the loss of your black copper hen. How'd it happen (if you don't mind me asking)?
