Yoker,

In the future start another thread and I will see your question. Normally I do not go back and read threads I have answered. Feel free to PM me.

It depends on what chickens you have to work with or can get.

What birds do you have to work with?

I have or will have:
Buff Orpingtons
Barred Rocks
Speckled Sussex
Silver Laced Wyandottes Bantem
Rhode Island Red
And mabe Gold Laced Wyandottes

Yoker,

This will be a long term project. You can use the birds you have, or will have, to make a buff columbian.

Cross a barred rock female with a rhode island red male. You need to only hatch enough eggs to produce a male offspring.

Back cross a male offspring to rhode island red females. You will have to set 50 eggs. Some of the offspring will be silver columbian restricted. The silvers will contain some black smut and dark red or light red feathering. Some will be barred like a delaware. Pick out silver columbian females that have black hackles. It will be ok to use the barred females( delaware like).

Do you have a male gold laced wyndotte?
