Help with hatching turkey eggs!

I am trying to hatch some turkey eggs for my brother. I have never hatched turkey eggs, so I need help. I have had them in the hatcher since day 25. This is day 28 and nothing. I can't hear anything or see any movement of eggs. I am using the egg carton method for hatching. Humidity is around 62-63% (this is what I use to hatch chicken eggs and they all hatch just fine). Should I hear anything or see anything at this point? any advice would be great.

just be patient, it may take a little longer depending on your temp. If you don't hear or see anything in a couple of days from now, then you can start getting a little concerned

I know you're not supposed to open the hatcher, but you have to with staggered hatches and it's never hurt the chicken eggs. Just wondering if I did something wrong with the turkey eggs.

A concern you may have if you are opening the hatcher (if it is part of your incubator) is to not let the humidity level drop much. If it does you could be shrink wrapping your chicks. If your humidity level is maintained above 50% you should be ok. I like it at 60% or better for the hatch. You can get a temp gauge that also checks humidity, if it goes low while removing chicks, maybe spray a little warm water on the eggs to help out and don't keep it open very long. Good luck

Sorry about the loss, but I would still give it 2-3 more days. If your temp is just a hair low, it will take more time and sometimes these little boogers just don't want to hatch on time. Hopefully you will start hearing and seeing something happen within a couple days.
