Help with hatching!

Well it looks like we've lost another chick. One of my broodies left it out in the cold all night. I put it under another trusty broody but there's probably not much hope right @TheKindaFarmGal?

I'm sorry...had it hatched by itself already? Was it alive, fluffy? What are your temps at night?

I'm confused. What exactly happened? Sorry...
So last night it was 50-59F. One of my broody hens, Mabel, pushed the egg out from under her chest. In the morning I candled it and I can't tell if it's dead or alive. I put it under another broody who's a lot more friendlier than Mabel and I trust her not to push the egg out.

Ok. I thought you meant a hatched chick was pushed out of the nest at first. :hide

Depending on how long it was out, it could be fine or not. What day is it on?
