For hot days I've read that giving icy cold water is good and that supplementing with Vitamins and Electrolytes helps too. So I purchased a package of Durvet Vit and Electrolytes, but the directions are confusing. How much should I use for a gallon of water? 1 oz? Is that way too much?

Appreciate any help. Thank all!

WES wrote Durvet and their answer:

"If you have the 4 oz. packet of Vitamins and Electrolytes then you would mix 1/2 teaspoon into 1 gallon of water.

If you have the 8 oz. packet of Vitamins and Electrolytes then you would mix 3/4 teaspoon into 1 gallon of water. "
