Hi I set some serama and silkie eggs it is now day 22 a serama hatched this morning and one of the silkies was cheeping The cheeping has stopped and I opened the egg the chick was dead and the beak and soles of feet going white I assume it drowned and I cant help feeling sorry I couldnr help it,It was an enormous perfect looking chickTwo more eggs sound like a crunching sound inside as though something is moving but no cheeping.my question is how long should I leave them until I give up on them I have 4 more serama (looked ok on candling but no noise from them) and 7 more silkies including the 2 sounding like movement,what is the longest time in days before I should call it a day Thanks
