I have a 2 year old beagle. About a hour ago, she started gaging and every once and a while she throws up a Clear liquid with a white foam. Please help what should I do? The vets closed and it's big bucks to call in a er vist!!! Help!

What have you been feeding her? Has she been outside lately? She possibly could've eaten something poisonous.

It mat be nothing but eating grass. But be careful to watch the dogs stool for blood and take him right to the vet if there is any blood in it. Does it have all the required shots? A friend of mine just had a dog die today of parvo. A 3 year old dog. So sad. I hope everything works out for you and good luck.

Shes up on all her shots, and she is outside in the lawn but theres no chemicals around.

Should i call the vet? do you think she has pavro?

Do not feed her, usually you can call the emergency line and speak to the vet without bringing her in. It sounds like something that can wait until morning if she is acting fine other than the vomiting.

I would call the line and just see what they say. Usually vets wont come in unless it is a true emergency(life or death or bad wound) or the owner persists the pet be seen NOW.

I doubt it is parvo it does happen in adults but it is rare. Throwing up bile is common and can be caused from any number of things I definitely would not panic.

I would not be alarmed yet. My dogs do this all the time after eating too much grass or something outside. The liquid is clear with white foam so it shouldn't be too bad. I know yellow liquid is acid and upset stomach.

Calm down and leave the dog alone and just watch.....

Please keep posting over the next hour as to how she's doing.
