I have about a 5-6 week old goose and ever since I got him he has had straight diarrhea. Its pure liquid and even though I refresh his water like 15 times a day he drinks it like he's never had water before? What could this be?

And at his age is it normal for him to want to chew everything up?!
And my final question is when do I start mixing in grower pellets?
Thank you :)

What do you feed him?
Yes, they chew...geese chew.
He´s almost full-grown, Don´t really need grower pellets if he´s getting a good balanced diet.

He gets fed chick starter, poultry feed mixed with cracked corn, grass and scratch.

Ideally, geese should get about 90% grass in their diet, if possible, and they need grit or coarse sand for grinding it up. Also, lettuce, particularly romaine, and they usually love soft fruits, pears, melon, etc.... why not try it and see if it changes anything? If waterfowl feed is available where you are, that wd be better than chicken feed, and only a little each day if he is on plenty of greenstuff.
