Help with new bourbon red, please

well, honestly, i moved the feed and water out to near him. I also throw scratch and grass all over in there. He hides in the corner when we come in, but is all over the place otherwise. He has yet to go INTO the coop, though. He seems to enjoy the sun a LOT more than those shadows in there.
