I have newly hatched chicks that one of my hens set on.(not their own fertilized eggs) I found a couple newly hatched last night and eggs still not hatched under the hen. My question is should I wait to move them to their own crate outside coop away from the other 5 hens now or wait a couple of days. They haven't left the nesting box and momma is still going strong and hasn't left yet. I don't have the space in the box for food and water that is easily accessible. what should I do with the other eggs? It is day 22 since we put them under her.
