It is only day 26 and one of my peachicks has already pipped. How long should I expect to wait before it hatches?

Oh you must be on pins and needles right now. Within the next 24 hours, if not you may need to help it hatch out. My hatch date is June 23rd and I CANNOT wait!!!

A Crack? Or a Pip? A pip caused by a chick resembles what a windshield looks like if it has been hit by a rock,,all cracks extending outwards from a central point,,but if it is "cracked" it may have been that way from the start, and if so,no peachick will develope unless the crack is waxed over before going into the bator. You hear any pecking or chirping inside the egg?

You may want to help by enlarging the pipped area somewhat. The airsack is located roughly around the upper 1/4 of the larger egg end.You can slowly and gently break away the shell going in a circular direction from where the crack is now advancing more of cracking the shell by the air scak, and when able to see inside more, look at the inner membrane. If the egg was just cracked chances are the membrane is still moist and there isn't an issue,,but sometimes peachicks have a rough time making progress on their own.

The inner membrane still appears to be moist, but the chick isn't moving around much to break anymore of the shell. It's beak is moving in a forward and back motion for the most part.

Update: The chick is out of the shell with a slight amount of albumen-looking substance attached to its rear end. I have placed it on a moist wash cloth in the incubator and hope that the "attachment" dries up soon. It wants to move, but its toes are curled, so I have done my best to tape on some cardstock "shoes," but it does not seem to be helping much with mobility. Here is a picture from outside the incubator:
