Help with Pastrure Pens!

Hi There! I have a question about the pastured poultry model. I read Joel Salatin's Book and this is basically the directions followed for our pen. I am a 5'4" 120lb woman and I really thought I could move the pen-wow was I wrong! So my 50 meaties are out in their pastured pen and if I get a goot foot hold or hold my tongue just right I can move it. I need a better way or it is going to be a long next 4 weeks!!! Has anyone adapted the 10X12 pastured pen to make it easier to move over corrugated fields and still be predator safe?

This is a great forum. I have been reading and learning for about 14 months and we have 130 chickens (mostly layers)!!! Chickens are addictive!!

If you have wheels on it then use large & wider wheels to make it easer to roll. Get rid of as much wight as you can. More wire & less wood or a roof that isn't heavy. Post a picture of what you have now & we can see if we can improve on it.
