Hey All,

just had a very successful first goose egg incubation attempt - 6 of 9 hatched and so for 5 are surviving (one looks a bit weaker than the others). But now I'm having a heck of a time telling what my goose/gander breakdown is. All the photos of these goslings I see online are obvious as night and day, but from what I can tell I've got one definite goose and four that aren't as clear... they've got both orange and brown on their bills, and their down coloring is not starkly different. Would love your thoughts on what we got

Pilgrim Females Have Dark Bills, Males Have Light Colored Bills...
I know this in theory, but apart from the one in the first solo picture, I can't tell if the rest are light or dark colored. Would love your assessment!

I think your right definite 2 dark bills but the smaller one may be another goose as bill darker than the paler ones. gosh they are gorgeous mine havn't started laying yet should start soon forgot how cute the goslings were.
3 and 3 would be great but I'm going to assume 2 and 4 until I see feathering. It's funny how all the online guides make the differences look super obvious on day 1 when the reality is so much more subtle.
