Help with possible color outcome of EE chick

Here is Elphaba and Peep at 5 weeks Still looking for coloring outcomes.
Definitely a boy, and he will look like this:

full grown.

My Stanley at your boy's age.

Sorry, I'm going to have to disagree with aoxa. I don't think you have a "for sure" cockerel. The legs are thick. But, the brown-red in the wing (that matches the brown-red elsewhere) isn't the same as the more vivid red showing on Stanley nor is the patterning nearly so patchy as his. Now, if your chick gets the darker red in on the wing, then I'd say cockerel but I wouldn't call it just yet.

This is a pullet with similar coloration:

And how she turned out:

No need for sorries ;) I've never actually seen many pullets coloured like your first one. Almost all that are this type of pattern I've seen/raised have been boys. I have plenty more boys that look just like Stanley did at this age. I just don't have any pictures of them yet.

All of my pullets are very even in pattern. I was thinking male on the OP's bird simply based on pattern and not so much the red on wings.

My two pictures are of the same bird. This is what she looked like as a young chick:

She went through a "Halloween" stage as a juvenile where she was orange and black and then lightened to reddish buff as her adult feathers came in.

It's crazy the difference!

Mine didn't change much after they were 6 weeks in terms of colouring. Stanley did though.

Even if Elphaba turns out to be a boy it is ok. I live in the country and can have unlimited birds, male and female. I am just curious as the color because you truly never know with EE's. Now I think Peep may be a HQ Ameracauna, she has all the SOP to this point(slate legs with pink under feet, right comb), but time will tell with both of them. I will post new pic in a couple of weeks. These last ones were the best I could do. It was really stormy out and rain was pounding on the shed where the brooder is and they were a little jumpy. Thanks for all the input. Chickens are so fun.

She is an EE. Anything that does not fit into their 8 colours is an EE. The colours are: Blue, Black, White, Buff, Blue Wheaton, Wheaton, Silver, and Red Brown.

I have a few EEs that would fit the standard if they were the right colour as well, and one that IS the right colour, but has yellow soles. Not only that, but they have to breed true 50% of the time and lay only blue eggs.

I also have true Ameraucana Bantams :)
