The article doesn't state if these were shipped eggs or not. In any case we are only stating our PERSONAL experiences with hatching duck eggs in the Brinsea. I had much, much better hatch rates in my 1588 than in the Brinsea only because the Brinsea was drying out the membranes too much during hatch. Someone stated that the fan is different now so I can only go by my Oct. 20 which is an original model and assuming that they may have changed the way the fan blew on my eggs.
