I have a really dumb question. When refering to a chicken as a pullet, is that a hen? Or is pullet a generic term for young chicken?Dominiques aren't "hybrids" but an actual breed with a SOP.
These aren't Doms. They're Barred Rock pullets as they have single combs. Doms have rose combs.
Not a dumb question, just a newbie one:I have a really dumb question. When refering to a chicken as a pullet, is that a hen? Or is pullet a generic term for young chicken?
