Help with the skin of my goose

So basically since i got him, he won't stop picking the feathers on the back and side of the neck until its all wet and hurt. I don't know how to help him so if someone knows something please help

I would try some neosporin on the area if it is looking irritated. Waterfowl start getting feathers in almost immediately and it may be painful or itchy to him.
What type of bedding are you using in the brooder?
