help with this breed

i have 4 chickens my hubby bought from market and no idea what they are. i cant post pics yet as i am a new egg. the cock bird is black and his feathers are tinted a dark blue the girls are brown with a light brown on there feathers they are very big and there featers are not soft. i know its hard without a pic but any helpers???
