Help with this rooster please!

Hello! I just bought this rooster, and he’s owner told me that is a silkie rooster pure breed, but it doesn’t look like a true silkie, please help me out to figured out so I can decide to breed him or not. Thanks

So, does the earlobes has to be blue??? Cuz I guess he breed some chicks and it looks like they have the right comb except white earlobes.
 
Silkie earlobes should be a blue green/turquoise color. Not white
I agree... BUT it's from white earlobes over the dark blue skin, as far as I can tell. :confused: So I THINK it comes from skin color not being great??

That boy IS Silkie feathered, but NOT even close to the standard.

Does it have 5 toes?

If breeding to fit the standard of perfection... NO don't use him. The color pattern doesn't match anything I am familiar with, His crest is way too small and the comb is just wrong.

He is cute though. If standard doesn't matter, do what you like! ;)

I don't understand though... Why picks of two males? Both are incorrect. :pop
 
The crown is too up and flopped to be a pure bred Silkie. If you look at a show quality Silkie, they have pee combs. As said above, the earlobes should not be white. He should also have way more hair around the comb and face, almost making the comb and eyes hard to see on it's head.
