Hello, had a duckling hatch today at 5:24 pm. He is completely out of his egg but the egg sac has not absorbed and I have him in a bowl with paper towels in incubator. Duckling is moving, chirping and yawning but mainly resting. I attatched pictures. If anyone has any ideas on what to do or how long it will take to absorb that will be helpful thanks.

I had the same thing happen to me before with 4 of my ducklings. We wrapped them with a warm damp paper towel and had them sitting up in a cup with a heating lamp. All 4 that had this problem made it and I still have them today. You definitely did the right thing, I don’t remember exactly how long I had to do that for but I know I had them like that for at least the whole night. I hope your duckling gets better soon!
