I ordered fertile eggs a week ago they ebded up in the neighbours for 6 days it was cool snd they wernt moved can I still start them or am i wasting my time
turned them and keaving them for the 24 hours please advise

You can still try.

You will have a higher hatch rate of you have broody hens to incubate them.

Hello and Welcome To BYC! Good luck with the hatch, hope you get some chicks out of it. People have had shipped eggs in the mail for over a week and still had a decent hatch.

I haven't tried hatching eggs yet but I would guess there's no harm in trying.

Make sure you get the incubator that automatically rotates them, check the temp daily and follow the instructions of adding a wet sponge for humidity on day 18 and also stopping the turning.

Hi one if my hens has laid an egg no shell or yolk been off lay for a few weeks growing new feathers any one else had this happen
no shell so dont think I have an egg eater
