My chicken got bit by a raccoon about 2 weeks ago, I recently found out that we're suppose to bathe our chicken. Is it alright if I bathe her now or wait longer? The feathers haven't grown back on the area of where she got bit. Please answer! She has lice as well :/

I'm not sure I can answer your question correctly but I can give you a link that will take you to the emergencies/diseases forum. Post all the details and provide a photo if possible. Someone there should be able to help you out:

I hope your bird makes a full recovery. Thank you for joining us.

What are you planning on bathing your chicken with? Are you talking about just a regular bath? I would think that a bath would be good as it would help keep the wound clean so it can heal.

If you need to bathe her to help eliminate the lice, maybe you could avoid getting it into her wound. Make sure she is fully dry before putting her outside. There are also products you can dust onto the bird.
