Help!!!

I went to check on my chickens this morning ,and I saw a pile of blood and feathers outside of the coop. So, I ran inside and didn't see anything wrong with any of the chickens. So later on I went and let them outside and I noticed one of them limping. I soon realize that he has no foot. His foot has gotten caught in the window and ripped off(that's why the blood and feathers were outside the coop), and it is blood. I don't know how long it has been like that or anything. I am new to owning chickens and do not know what to do. I sent my friend to Tractor Supply to get iodine animal wound cleaning spray, Neosporin ( non-medicated), and animal bandage, but I don't know what to do at all. Someone please help me.

It hasn't stopped, but its getting slower and slower. I am afraid that it might bleed to death. I was trying to wait for the bleeding to stop before I bandaged it ,but I might just go ahead and bandage it. It looks like the entire foot was ripped off and there is just a joint (like the end of a chicken leg).

Sometimes corn starch or flour can be used to stop bleeding. Good luck!

Oh no! Sounds like your bird got into a serious accident. I think that you should bandage it, if haven't already, to reduce the bleeding. Also, try cleaning the wound a little bit so your bandage doesn't trap any germs inside. Do you have antibiotics? After the wound has begun to heal a little you should start applying some to help. Where are you keeping the bird? You should move him into a secluded area, or maybe put him in a cage with the other chickens so he doesn't get lonely. He should have food and water, put electrolytes in the latter, close at hand so that he doesn't have to move much on the injured foot. Put fresh bedding or blankets/towels under him so that his would is kept clean. Pay close attention to how the wound is bleeding, if it hasn't stopped yet you should use flour or corn starch to stop it. Keep a close eye on him!
And when you are finished with getting the wounded chicken comfortable you should see if there is any way to prevent other birds from being hurt. Check if the window can be tightened, or if it has a loose piece, remove it. Can you get pictures of the wounded foot and the window where the accident happened? I might be able to help you more if I can see it.
