Help!!

I don't think this is normal but I just bought this baby chick a couple hours ago and I was checking them out to see if they were all okay and this one has a weird thing that looks and feels like a pokey from a sticker bush right under its bum? I'm hoping it's something else and not an injury?

More towards the belly or right around vent? Where did you get the chicks from? Could be crusty butt or dried yolk sac depending on where it is?

it looks like it's on the belly button! I got it from a feed store today. It looks exactly like a thorn but I don't know how that would happen. It's all black except for the top which is a whitish color. It moves around just fine but it's weird.
