Hello All,

Today is Day 20 of incubation for our duck eggs (mallard). Everything seems to be going well...thanks to all the help on this site! Today when I went to turn the eggs I noticed 1 of them was rocking. I candled it and I can see movement in the air pocket. This egg from day one looked a little different in color and size and now I'm not so sure it's a duck. Not sure what to do and certainly don't want to put the other eggs in jeopardy. I only have the one incubator. Has this ever happened to anyone? I'd appreciate any help someone can give me!!!

Day 20 sounds like it may be a chicken egg? How big is it compared to the others?

Slightly larger than the others and white in color. I did not weigh the eggs but noticed right away that it was heavier than the others and now it's much lighter.

Hopefully it is a chicken egg, and not some critter from outer space. Please let us know what comes out of it.
