i’m having an issue, my month old duck has recently not been eating, she eats a little here and there but not very much, she drinks frequently and also drinks the vitamins/electrolyte drink mix i got from tractor supply. ive been reccomended from multiple people to try the epsom salt flush but i don’t know how to measure a 1/4-1/2 gram mixture that i’m needing for the recipe

How many ducks do you have?

Is that electrolyte mix for waterfowl? If not she could be over dosing on the salt, potassium, and such that are usually included in those. For how long have you been supplementing it? What do you feed including treats and supplements? What is the protein content? And what will a flush accomplish? Do they free range?

I also want to know why your using stuff in the water?..Was the Duck sick?...The feed should be balanced enough to keep her healthy....Young Ducklings slow down on food intake when they are done a growth spurt....

@Cece Kirt Has your duckling been outside where it could have gotten into anything toxic? or have eaten moldy feed? No sense in doing a flush unless there is a reason.
