Help!!!

I d

I have 3 that I did Mark in the begining that was on May 26th should I worry

you could try giving them a few more days, but if you are worried you could try candling them. they might look a lot different from what you're used to if they're just about ready to hatch. You may or may not see movement, that wont really tell you anything though. unless you do see movement. :) look for a triangular shadow in the aircell end if you do decide to candle them.

Thank you for your quick replies it has been very helpful I put all the eggs back under henny.
It sounds like you and your hen are doing some great work. I know how hard the waiting can be. Good luck to you both

What does the triangular shape mean?

it's the chicks beak, if you can see it then you should have an external pip within 24 hours and a chick 24 hours after that. :D
Ok cool if I candle them again then I know what to look for thank you so much for all this info this sight and all you wonderful people have been awsome .

I would like to know if you have any that hatch...recently a hen of mine hatched 4 of 8...she abandoned the nest after those 4 and I did not know how to check to see if the others could still possibly have chicks...I am going to follow this so I will know in the future

I took a flashlight and candled them I watched a lot of videos on you tube as I had no clue what I was doing. You have to let your eyes adjust first and I carefully turned the egg in my hand and saw the veins and then movement it was pretty cool and suprising because some websites said if they sunk they are duds which seems to be so untrue and I'm glad I kept them in my makeshift incubator till I read up some more. Not sure if that is of any help.
