I have gotten four chicks after i waited a certain amount of days tapped on egg while holding it to my ear to see if baby cheeping..one chick couldn't hear but when i started doing checking inside shell...I always start at the air cell end...she was peeping alot. ...I have found I should always check cause you never know
 
always and the other peeps peeping will encourage the others to hatch
