Need help!!! Never had a quail before. My cat brought me one. I dont know how to take care of it. I dont want the little guy to die if i can help ot.

I’m not familiar with quail but a picture might help others that will reply so they can perhaps see the size and or age of the quail.

Well, you need Chick Starter Feed (Your local pet store should have it) judging by the size a lamp and a aquarium or indoor guinea pig cage will do. A jam jar lid with a few pebbles or marbles with water in.

My cat is always bringing me 'gifts' of small birds and rodents. I've saved countless animals from the clutches of my cat and nursed them back to health.

I also have to keep my 5 Quail safe from my cat. As well as, local foxes.

Some people recommend placing a thermometer inside you're chick's enclosure. (To keep an eye on the temperature).

I have a lamp. The temperature is between 85 and 90
