    Came home and found hen in coop with what looks like intestines hanging out!!!

    Can you post pics? Does this look like a wound, like a dog or other predator got hold of her, are are they hanging out of her vent, like they are prolapsed? Can you isolate her, like in a dog crate or something like that, and can you spray or rinse her with a saline solution to keep her clean? If you have gloves wear them, otherwise wash your hands good with soap before handling her to try not to contaminate her....

    Sometimes a prolapse can look like intestines, so hopefully that's what you're seeing. If you are seeing intestines then my suggestion is to get her to a vet ASAP or euthanize her. :(

    Please do post a picture before you do anything drastic.
