As long as your parent's have been taking you to the doctor and you have been getting all your regular shots then you're fine. You should have received a DTAP booster when you were 12.

I was told there was a chance of an infection/disease/sickness. about a week and a half ago I got Mono. is this in any way related to what happened?

No I didn't. I watched for signs of swelling for a few days and nothing happened. It went away after a while so I was just curious
