help?!?!??

What do you want for your ducks? Do you put feed out for them or let them find their own? How many are there?
How big is this pond?
Pics would be most helpful.
the pond is very big but it still freezes every winter. what do u mean what do i want for them? i feed them twice a day

I'm sorry your parents won't let you take better care of them. Have you considered finding them a home where they will be safe? I know you love them so it would be very hard for you, but it would surely be much less painful than the inevitable predator attack?
not any that they can go to and be safe at (we have too many boys and nobody wants boys except for meat)

Sending a hug to you! You are in a tough situation. See if you can get them in their coop this weekend. Do some research on here to look for bedding options that you can keep cleaned out to keep the coop clean so that your parents won't mind them being there.
You can try posting your ducks under the section of pets that need a home if you like.
If you would like to share what state you live in we can help you to find a duck rescue that won't use them as food. :hugs

It would be a good idea to get a coop, sence there’s no pond for them to run away in something might get them.

Or if your have one secure it and for a few nights catch the ducks and put them in the coop. After a few days they will start going in on their own and all you will have to do is close the door at night and open it in morning

i have a coop but they can’t go to it from the pond. i did manage to get them since all but a tiny bit more f the pond froze and they had ice (flakes?) on them. is that ok they are in there coop now!

Awesome you got them inside out of the weather and safe from harm. Do you have any bedding down for them? You can put feed and water inside a plastic under bed storage container to try an keep bedding drier. Well done getting them in the coop.

If they are cold then you might want to try to warm them up, it is great that they are in their coop now! I don’t think the ice flakes will do anything. If you don’t have a water dish in their coop you should put one there.

You could buy a heated water dish, if you can’t then you can do what we do and dump out the water before bed, and refill it in the morning. They won’t need water at night sence they’re sleeping.
