Help!

My Pekin isn’t doing well and needs some antibiotics. I do not live in a rural area so meds are hard to find for her. All I could get was Liquamycin but I’m not sure if that’s ok or how much to give her.

Some really good natural antibiotics that I use are apple cider vinegar and some kefir milk. I put some of the apple cider vinegar in their water and drizzle the kefir milk over the top of their food or mix it in their food. Another thing that you may be able to find is amoxicillin at a pet store. Im not sure but I think my mom looks over in the fish section to find the amoxicillin.

Symptoms she’s having please? It’s a broad spectrum

It’s been swollen before and she will limp for a day or two then be fine but she can’t put any weight on it now.

@casportpony is my go to for med info and dosage. Mean time do you think this an injury. Can you get better pics of her leg please. And her weight? How old is she? What do you feed and any supplements.

@johntfs first we have to make sure it is Bumble foot. Can you see it? I can't. So we need better pics of under her foot and her leg.

Very true. On the other hand, soaking the foot in a soothing warm water and Epsom salt bath probably won't hurt.
