Just thought I'd add, I had a chicken egg that sat for a week and a few days without an incubator, and it still grew and developed.

The general consensus from everywhere I look is up to 10 days before the hatchability comes down. Pretty decent considering what's inside an egg

It won't be a problem as long as it doesn't wait too long. after all, the package it's in isn't the same temperature as an incubator so it's not much different besides the wait time

Oh no i meant taking it out of the shipping box and than putting it in a egg carton box in my room, I was worried about the temperature changing dramatically since my room isn't warm all the time.
