[Momma hen quack]

Hatched chickens and suddenly 1 that I helped out of the egg died with no warning and now another chicken is acting lethargic and not eating or drinking. Have put them on medicated feed and hydro hen. The one chick is separated and is pooping mostly white liquid. She had some more solid poop earlier today.

How old are they? Newly hatched chicks are exhausted, don't eat or drink for up to 24 hours and have weird poop.

She will be a week tomorrow.

The other one that died on Monday was 4 days old.

The other 3 chicks that hatched with her are up and eating drinking and scratching. All she is doing is sleeping.

Is she pooping? Some chicks just fail to thrive for no apparent reason.

She was the past couple of days although it was smaller. Now it is more white and looks like mucas and is getting stuck to her butt.
