Help

It's mostly clear but here is some that looks bloody.

I haven't experienced coccidia in day-old chicks so I can't help you on that, but maybe more experienced folk can tell you whether or not that is parasite poop. Does your chick poop this color all the time or every once in a while only?

Here's the clear stuff... Very sticky when it comes out.

It's mostly the white clear and then there have been specks that look like blood. She didn't have this yesterday as her poop was small but looked normal. The other chicks seem fine. I moved them into separate cages this morning when I saw her pasty butt. I'm trying to decide if I should treat them all with the antibiotic.

Clear and watery... Probably (maybe?) the remains of her egg yolk upon hatching. If she's not making bloody poop consistently then I can't say with what little knowledge I have that your chick has coccidia. Are the rest of your chicks all pooping normally?

If the sick chick hasn't been in contact with adult chickens, then i don't see how she could have caught coccidia either. So it's probably something else. Keep the anti-coccidia meds close by though, in case more experienced folks see signs that tell them otherwise. Have you tried electrolytes yet?

So, I treated her with Corid. I had to syringe feed her as all she did was sleep no peeping. I force feed her the Corid treated water every hour or so through the syringe. Then, I also feed her Hydro hen in the syringe mixed with finely ground food in water. I did this for 8 hours, and I finally saw her improving. By midnight, she was up and eating/drinking, her poop had switched from sticky and watery to some brown poop formed. My kids and I kept an eye on her through the night and she still continued to eat and drink on her own. This morning, she was back to normal. Eating, drinking, chirping, runny around, and jumping. Only sleeping like she should. Poop still has a tinge of red at time, but mostly looks normal.
I'm just glad she bounced back, as I really thought I was going to loose her. When birds sleep all the time like that and won't eat or drink .. they usually don't last very long. Thanks for all the help and suggestions. I learn so much from everyone ♥️
