Mother was a Cayuga,

Mother was a Cayuga and temp was 37.5, is that too low?

No. But possibly showing that was the temp but a bit off? Have you locked down and have the humidity correct? Day 30 isn't a big deal. 28 days is an estimated time for hatching. Nature usually has other plans. Keep waiting.

Keep an eye on them through out today and by evening if you feel the need then do the safe hole and @Isaac 0 can guide you. I know it’s exciting just don’t want to rush them once they have internally pipped they have around 24 hrs before they begin running into trouble.

We did lockdown, but as we expected them to hatch last Sunday, we put them into lockdown on Friday the 22 of May, but we have taken them out for candling twice in the last few days, we don't have a humidity regulator so it's kind of a matter of luck with the humidity. Also it's day 32 now not 30

No much can go wrong as long as you put the safety hole after the internal pip, if you do it before, the membrane may shrink and the duckling won't be able to pip, but by now a safety hole will be fine, it just ensures the duckling is getting air.

So I'd probably do it on a few no fertile eggs first to get the hang of it, but to make a safety hole, grab a sharp sterilized screw or brad point drill bit, position it on the air cell end of the egg, and gently twist back and forth until you make a small hole, no need to widen any further. Here is a safety hole I made in a Call Egg. Very tiny as you can probably see.
