My 11 ducks didn’t fit so I put them in with my chickens and the chickens have to much space. So I put in my ducks and the chickens are pecking at my ducks. What can I do to keep the chickens from hurting my ducks?

They are in an outdoor area big enough for a couple of dogs. They have plenty of space for each other. I have 23 road Island Red chickens with 5 Pekins 2 White Cresteds and 3 Buff Orpington ducks. The ducks stay together in a big group. They each have a huge space and the coop in the size of a medium sized shedAre they in the brooder together or in a coop? I don't think they should be in a brooder together.
We live on a 135 acre farm with foxes and who knows what, we also have 7 dogs. So they can’t be free range. The enclosed area is the size of a small house and the coop as I said before is the size of a medium sized shed. Your probably right though, the chickens may be pecking because they were there first. My bet is that since the chickens were there first, they are working on a new pecking order. That sounds like way too many birds in one space but I don't know your dimensions. Mine all free range but share a coop and it tends to be the ducks going after the chickens more often than the chickens going after ducks.
How big is that in, feet by feet?I said before is the size of a medium sized shed.
