Do you have a picture?
How bad is it?
I don’t keep water in the coop and I keep the door open since I have two doors for the coop. The other door I keep open is surrounded by a run THat is predator proof. Also they do roam outside. Is there anything I can doIt's not too bad. Likely will loose the tips and the comb will round off some.
Having ventilation in the coop is essential, but some birds will get frostbite regardless if they are roaming around in cold weather. Frostbite is exposure and moisture. If you keep water inside your coop at night I would take it out.
But will it grow back or that will be permanent? Will it affect her though? Because I don’t know how to fix itThat isn’t too bad. He will lose those parts.
You can’t fix it and it won’t grow back. But will it grow back or that will be permanent? Will it affect her though? Because I don’t know how to fix it
Will it affect her though? And will it hurt? So this happens to other chickens too they just loose a part of their comb... what if the whole comb gets a frostbiteYou can’t fix it and it won’t grow back.
Anything that gets frostbite will die and fall off, even toes and feet. Will it affect her though? And will it hurt? So this happens to other chickens too they just loose a part of their comb... what if the whole comb gets a frostbite
