I found my female duck laying in the coop with her feet out unnaturally. Her feet kept shaking and she wasn’t talking like she normally would. What is going on? I put her in a bath to warm her up a bit and get her to float a little i guess. I’m hoping she can get her feet beneath her, but it’s almost like they’re paralyzed to that spot. She can bend them, but she can’t sit naturally on them.

Does she lay eggs?
No, she’s too old now. But i’ve put her in a little space in the house with some water with ACV and she ate a little. It took her a while, but she is standing now! She wasn’t talking at all earlier, but i’ve gotten a few little quacks so far. My biggest concern is that I haven’t seen her poop.

Another update! She finally pooped!

@Isaac 0 may have the best idea as to what is going on.

The only thing I can say is to make sure she is still getting plenty of fluids and electrolytes. Since she couldn't move she is likely a bit dehydrated and hungry.

Good to hear she is doing a bit better.
