Our Easter egger has a wound on her back (mid-back). It's gotten worse between yesterday and today and we aren't sure what it is. She's a year old and didn't have any skin conditions or problems prior to the wound. We aren't sure what to do. Pictures attached. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!

It looks maybe like pecking from other chickens. I’m not totally sure, but separate it from the rest of the flock and treat her. Hopefully someone else know more. I’m not entirely sure if this is correct info that I’m giving you, but this is what I think. Hope this helps!

Hey!
I would wash the wound and put antibiotic cream or sumthin on it then keep clean. Not a big wound, so she won't have to be in recovery very long!

Over excited rooster? Or getting bullied by someone. I would flush it out with saline solution and use Neosporin with out pain relief. I would keep an eye out if the others notice an injury they will keep pecking her. If she is picking herself I would check for mites.
