hello, I got my pet dove a few month ago and she recently started to lose a lot of her feathers, today when I cleaned her cage I noticed that there were white flakes at the bottom of her cage that seemed that were apart of her feathers. When I first got her she was COVERD in lice, I'm not sure what to do other than the loosing feather and low energy she seems fine, her eating habits are the same there no mucus around her eyes, nose or beak. Dose anyone know any good vets in san Francisco or any good supplements I can give her????.

It sounds as if she is molting and what you are seeing are the sheaths of the pin feathers falling off as the feathers mature. This dander can be hypoallergenic for some people so clean frequently.
