Its been a while since I've had chickens. I can't remember what I did to treat this the last time. Can someone help?
I'm taking over my mother in laws flock.

Are you able to clean that out? In the photo, it looks like her nostril is clogged with something.

(I have never tried to clean a chicken's nostril, so I don't know if it's even possible.)

Looks like her sinus cavity ruptured with pus.

Is there a bad odor?

I'm thinking Canker/Sinus Canker. @dawg53 what do you think?

@Wyorp Rock Ditto on the sinus canker, a very bad case of it. Canker is very contagious to other birds via waterers and feeders. Cull the bird. Then sanitize all waterers and feeders.
Then as a preventative, provide acidified copper sulfate in the waterers. Dosage is 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of water for 3 days once a month. Use plastic waterers, not metal.
Do not overdose and do not add anything else to the mixture.
