It moves around. But falls everywhere it goesIt looks like his foot has fallen through one of the holes and he might be stuck.

Hatching junk/poo.Ok thank you. I will give it a try. I’m new to this. There is a bunch of black gu on the cord. Any idea what that is?
You need to cover that floor with something. It moves around. But falls everywhere it goes
There is black gu and and u can’t see it. It’s a piece of shell. But I also think maybe one of its legs could be hurt,I do not see anything that needs to be cut off of its butt.
I do not see anything attached to a shell.
Hatching junk/poo.
Do not pull or touch on any of that.
Can you get a clear closer up picture of its butt area with all the gunk?
Hard to get a picture
If it looks thin and starting to dry, you can cut it with scissors. Otherwise, leave it alone, and it will detach on its own.I started hatching button quail. I had one egg that started to break open and never did. It has been a day and no progress. I helped it out a little and it managed to get out. But the cord is still attached to a bit of its shell and its falling every time it walks. What do I do? I have to put it in the brooder soon
