Ok. That makes sense I didn’t think about it like that. I wish I could make him a perch not in a coop then. Just like what he is doing now on the porch but just not on our porch.To keep him safe in his future coop he needs to be locked up at night, or else being in the open coop would be like a trap, since he would not have an escape in case a predator comes in to pick him off the roost.
